What a busy month! We are settling back into a more regular classroom routine now that curling, cross country skiing, FSAs and other events are mostly done. We are still hopeful that the Grade 5s might get one more cross country ski date in and our First Aid training will be rescheduled as well.
Both the Grade 4s and 5s are working on preparing speeches for the Concours d'Art Oratoire. We have also been reading our English novel Maniac Magee and are starting literature circles in French this week. In Math, we have begun practicing multiplication facts and are building towards multiplying larger numbers. We will be working in our Eportfolios tomorrow so please keep checking there regularly for progress updates. Also check the Assignments page for more info about criteria for assignments.
Due tomorrow: Gr4s p. 67 and Gr5s p. 65 in Jump Math book. I'm also still waiting for the majority of students to return their math quizzes from a couple of weeks ago signed and corrected. Also, if you have not yet returned the skating permission form and $2 please do so asap. Thank you!
